Many small businesses have yet to put in place procedures to address pension auto-enrolment in the belief that the need to do so is at least a year away. In fact, the administration required to have the necessary processes in place in good time, take longer than you may think. Mark Beynon, independent financial advisor with MDL Associates, will explain what you will need to do and the timeframes involved.
Workplace stress
Stress is the second most frequently reported work-related health issue. Absenteeism whether long or short term is a particular challenge for small to medium sized businesses that may not have the resource to cover these absences. We will provide you with some tools and solutions that will help you to manage instances of workplace stress as well as measures to minimise the likelihood of these taking place. We’ll also clarify the legal position and your obligations as an employer.
