General Data Protection Regulations and what it means for HR
As of 25 May 2018, employers must be in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This legislation is set to have a major impact on businesses and, in particular, the way in which HR handles and processes data.
It’s important that we fully understand the changes and how we must prepare for them, since the penalties for noncompliance are potentially very severe – up to 20 million Euros or 4 percent of worldwide turnover. But, good data protection is a question of high quality client care and responsible HR management, as much as an issue of technical compliance, so this seminar is not to be missed!
We will focus particularly on:
- Understanding the upcoming GDPR legislation;
- How the new regulations will change the way HR processes and document management are handled;
- How we can prepare for the changes.
