Mental Health Awareness Week – 18-24 May 2020

It does not really need to be reiterated that this is a time when all of us are much more conscious of our own mental health and the different challenges that we are facing.  Regardless of our personal circumstances and how some people may be better placed in comparison to others, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues can strike any of us.

Here at EvolutionHR, we are encouraging everyone to reach out to at least one other person every day this week, just to talk and, in turn, listen to what they have to say.  Not with any particular agenda – you can discuss the weather, what’s on TV, or you can talk about more serious issues. 

The point is to make a human connection – ideally with someone that you don’t usually speak to during the normal course of your day.  It could be a neighbour, a friend that you haven’t spoken to for a while, or a work colleague that you may not have connected with since we have all had to work from home.  

Just reach out and connect.
